Anche se non lo confesseremo mai, siamo chi più chi meno pieni di pregiudizi e imbevuti di luoghi comuni e nonostante siamo nel 2015 e nell’epoca dei social network, per certi versi rimaniamo uomini delle caverne.
Personalmente se dovessi dirvi la prima immagine che collego alla musica classica direi sicuramente un comodo letto e come la parola direi noia e infine come l’aggettivo non esiterei a dire lentezza.
Se poi dovessi invece descrivere un ‘amante di tale musica non potrei non citare la mia vicina di casa ultracentenaria cieca e praticamente sorda che a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte ascolta alla radio pezzi di Chopin,Mozart .
Già perche la musica classica nell’immaginario collettivo è formalismo, lentezza, vecchiaia, eleganza, tradizione,giusto?
Fino a ieri sera vi avrei detto di si senza esitazione,ma dopo aver vistole prime due divertenti puntate della serie prodotta da Amazon “Mozart in The Jungle” non ne sono più sicuro. Immaginate di entrare in una vecchia casa arredata con mobili di valore e antichi e che un giovane architetto pur rispettando la sacralità del luogo la renda moderna, nuova e colorata.
Ebbene con questa serie lo spettatore entra nel mondo del musica classica in maniera giovanile, diretta e frizzante conoscendo soprattutto i suoi particolari abitanti.
Sì perche, i maestri di strumenti classici sono anche dei giovani come in altre discipline che oltre a suonare amano fare sesso, mangiare e divertirsi, drogarsi e magari innamorasi.
Cosi conosciamo l’ingenua Hailey(Lola Kirke), brillante suonatrice di oboe che si divide tra il lavoro di baby sitter e il sogno d’entrare nella prestigiosa filarmonica di New York e nello stesso tempo come ogni ragazza si diverte con le amiche e avendo i suoi flirt con colleghi carini.
Toscanini, Maazel,Muti, Von Karanjan, Zubi Meta, Abbado sono i primi nomi che mi vengono in mente di importanti e talentuosi direttori d’orchestra, tutti eleganti, classici e impeccabili
Ebbene se invece ci fosse un direttore d’orchestra sanguigno, eccentrico, capellone e sciupa femmine?
Faticate ad immaginarlo? Ebbene date una chance a questa serie e conoscerete il giovane ed eccentrico maestro sudamericano Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) chiamato da Gloria(Bernadette Peters)ambiziosa e conservatrice direttrice della Filarmonica di New York , a risollevare con il suo talento il prestigio dell’ente. Rodrigo fin da subito con i suoi modi di fare stravaganti e anticonformisti si scontra il rigido e conservatore maestro emerito Thomas (Malcom Mc Dowell) costretto a farsi da parte e di conseguenza invidioso e bramoso di vendicarsi screditandolo professionalmente.
All’interno di una grande orchestra ci sono ovviamente gelosie, simpatie,amori e alleanze tra i suoi componenti e cosi possiamo osservare strategie segrete per poter emergere nella figura della fascinosa e seducente Cynthia(Saffron Burrows).
“Mozart in The Jungle” è scritta e diretta in maniera semplice, diretta, riuscendo con buon ritmo a regalare allo spettatore divertimento e invogliando alla visione grazie a un buon intreccio narrativo e soprattutto facendo conoscere nello stesso tempo un genere musicale ai molti sconosciuto.
La musica è per tutti dicono eppure la classica è sempre stata considerata d’elite, da ieri sera però Mozart è però diventato un po’ più rock.

Already because classical music in the collective is formalism, slow, old, elegance, tradition, right?
Until last night I would have said yes without hesitation, but after the first two vistole funny episodes of the series produced by Amazon “Mozart in the Jungle” are not safer. Imagine entering an old house furnished with antiques and valuable and that a young architect while respecting the sanctity of the place makes it modern, new and colorful.
Well with this series the viewer enters the world of classical music in a youthful, direct and sparkling especially knowing its details inhabitants.
Yes because, masters of classical instruments are also of young people as in other disciplines besides playing like having sex, eat and have fun, and maybe innamorasi drugs.
So we know the naive Hailey (Lola Kirke), brilliant suonatrice oboe which is divided between the work of babysitting and the dream of entering the prestigious New York Philharmonic and at the same time as each girl having fun with her friends and having his colleagues flirt with cute.
Toscanini, Maazel, Muti, Von Karanjan, Zubi Meta, Abbado are the first names that come to mind of important and talented conductors, all elegant, classic and impeccable
Well what if there was a conductor blood, eccentric, long-haired and mulls females?
Toil to imagine? Well given a chance in this series and know the young and eccentric South American maestro Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) called by Gloria (Bernadette Peters) ambitious and conservative director of the New York Philharmonic, with his talent to revive the prestige of the institution. Rodrigo immediately with his ways of making extravagant and offbeat encounters the rigid and conservative teacher emeritus Thomas (Malcolm McDowell) forced to step aside and consequently envious and eager for revenge discrediting professionally.
Inside a large orchestra there are obviously jealousies, likes, loves and alliances among its members and so we can observe secret strategies to emerge in the shape of fascinating and seductive Cynthia (Saffron Burrows).
“Mozart in the Jungle” is written and directed in a simple, direct, succeeding with good pace to give the viewer fun and enticing vision thanks to a good storyline and especially by conveying the same time a kind of music unknown to many.
Music is for everyone says and yet the classic has always been considered an elite, last night though Mozart however become a bit ‘more rock.
