“C’è del marcio in Danimarca” sosteneva il Principe Amleto e forse tutti i torti non li aveva.
Noi italiani siamo abituati ad assistere come i nostri politici spesso mentano, agiscano nel torbido e nell’illegalità.
La nostra repubblicana è piena di Segreti di Stato che occultano verità imbarazzanti e desolanti. Troppi misteri e scandali sono stati coperti con la scusa della Ragion di Stato.
Tanti giornalisti e privati cittadini hanno tentato tante volte di rompere il muro di gomma finendo per rompersi la testa.
Ebbene anche la civile e democratica Danimarca ha i suoi scheletri nell’armadio.
La differenza tra noi e i danesi è che questi ultimi ha davvero un alto tasso civico e non ammettono che un politico possa mentire e nascondere una verità vitale per l’interesse pubblico.
Forse pochi sapranno nel 1968 un bombardiere americano B-52, che trasportava al suo interno tre bombe all’idrogeno, precipitò per un guasto tecnico in Groenlandia, vicino alla base militare americana stanziata a Thule.
Scattarono ovviamente subito i soccorsi e il governo danese si affrettò a tranquillizzare l’opinione pubblica che non c’era alcun rischio radioattivo per la popolazione.
E’quindi caso chiuso ?
Non proprio. Infatti, vent’anni dopo, molti dei pompieri impegnati nella bonifica del disastro aereo, si ammalarono di cancro e altre malattie della pelle.
Era solo una coincidenza? No, per lo scrupoloso e determinato giornalista radiofonico Poul Brink che iniziò a indagare a fondo e senza paura sul disastro rendendosi come la verità fosse ben diversa. Brink, senza avere alcun timore delle possibili, conseguenze, è riuscito a mettere fuoco e a dimostrare come il governo danese dell’epoca occultò le prove e soprattutto mentendo sull’esistenza di una bomba all’idrogeno inesplosa presente nella profondità del mare.
Brink, a spese proprie, ha ricostruito in maniera meticolosa ed efficace lo scellerato patto firmato dalle autorità danesi con gli USA prima per acconsentire agli aerei americani di sorvolare i cieli di Danimarca con armi nucleari e poi di nascondere ogni prova del disastro ambientale avvenuto
La Danimarca è un Paese storicamente anti nucleare e votato allo sviluppo dell’energia alternativa e l’inchiesta di Brink, di fatto, generò sconcerto e rabbia nell’opinione pubblica.
“The Idealist” è un film scritto e diretto in maniera semplice, lineare e avvincente che non può suscitare reazioni e riflessioni nello spettatore.
La regista Rosendahl (premiata come migliore regia al Festival internazionale di Pechino) presentando il film ieri pomeriggio al Nordic Film Fest, ha tenuto a precisare che la storia raccontata non pretende di essere la verità assoluta, ma la sua personale visione dei fatti. Semmai l’intento della cineasta danese è stato piuttosto porre allo spettatore la seguente e inevitabile domanda dopo alla fine del film: Voi vi fidereste ancora di questa classe politica?
E’ un prodotto che ha un impianto e respiro narrativo più televisivo che cinematografico. E sebbene presenti una visione troppo manichea tra i buoni e cattivi e un ritmo non sempre incalzante e fluido si lascia vedere fino alla fine con interesse e curiosità.
Poul Brink visto con gli occhi dello spettatore italiano, forse può apparire un ingenuo Don Chisciotte, sconfitto dalla real politik danese. Però dall’altra parte rappresenta davvero una bella pagina di coraggioso giornalismo oltre che di onestà intellettuale .
Poul Brink è morto nel 2008, a causa un infarto, e dopo aver conosciuto la sua storia, lo spettatore italiano non può che augurarsi che in Italia ci siano giornalisti almeno simili per caparbietà e professionalità.
La vita matrimoniale non è facile, se poi hai un bambino piccolo da accudire può diventare soffocante e opprimente.
Una verità che vale in ogni angolo del mondo. Non ci credete?
Vedere “Lapland Odyssey 2” per credere. Anche in Finlandia il matrimonio può diventare la tomba dell’amore.
Sempre nella verde e tranquilla Finlandia ci si può annoiare, se una coppia è costretta a vivere con una figlia di un anno. In una sperduta cittadina di provincia.
Questa è la storia della giovane coppia composta da Janne e Inari, che dopo essere stati reclusi in casa, per un anno, ad accudire la loro figlioletta Lumi, sentono il bisogno di avere una serata tutta per loro.
Così entrambi decidono, in maniera separata, di uscire con i rispettivi amici per una notte in città.
Inari con un’amica, va a festeggiare presso un bellissimo albergo di proprietà di uno spasimante ancora morbosamente innamorato della donna.
Invece Janne, ufficialmente scelto per rimanere a casa con la bambina, convince un vecchio amico ad andare a un matrimonio, convinto di poter occuparsi lo stesso della figlia.
Ha così inizio una pazza e divertente notte in cui i colpi di scena e gli imprevisti divertenti diventano il cuore di una storia magari prevedibile e non originale per chi è abituata a vedere commedie americane, ma che comunque cattura l’attenzione e curiosità del divertito spettatore.
E’ una commedia semplice, pulita e senza particolari guizzi narrativi e registici, ma rivelandosi gradevole e simpatica da seguire e vedere. Mostrando soprattutto come le problematiche di una giovane coppia sia uguali dappertutto. Il cast è di discreto livello interprativo nel complesso e adeguato al compito riuscendo a creare una buona empatia con il pubblico.
Creare e mantenere una famiglia non sono un impegno semplice, ma come ci suggerisce il finale, è probabilmente l’avventura più emozionate che si possa vivere.

“There’s something rotten in Denmark” argued Prince Hamlet and maybe all the wrongs did not have them.
We Italians are accustomed to witness how our politicians are lying often, act in troubled waters and illegally.
Our republic is full of state secrets that hide embarrassing and distressing truth. Too many mysteries and scandals have been covered with the excuse of the reason of state.
Many journalists and private citizens have tried everything to break the glass ceiling and end up breaking your head.
Well even the civil and democratic Denmark has its skeletons in the closet.
The difference between us and the Danes is that the latter actually has a high rate number and do not admit that a politician can lie and hide a vital truth for the public interest.
Maybe a few will know in 1968 an American B-52 bomber, carrying three internal hydrogen bombs, he rushed to a technical failure in Greenland, near the American military base stationed in Thule.
They snapped obviously relief immediately and the Danish government hastened to reassure the public that there was no radiation risk to the population.
E’quindi case closed?
Not exactly. In fact, twenty years later, many of the firefighters involved in the remediation of the plane crash, became ill with cancer and other skin diseases.
It was just a coincidence? No, for the painstaking and determined radio journalist Poul Brink who began to investigate thoroughly and without fear on the disaster making himself as the truth was quite different. Brink, without any fear of the possible, consequences, has managed to put the fire and to show how the Danish government of the time hid the evidence and especially lying on the existence of a hydrogen present unexploded bomb in the depths of the sea.
Brink, at its own expense, has reconstructed meticulously and effectively the wicked pact signed by the Danish authorities with the US prior to consent to American planes to fly over the skies of Denmark with nuclear weapons and then to hide any evidence of environmental disaster occurred
Denmark is a country historically anti-nuclear and voted to the development of alternative energy and the investigation of Brink, in fact, became the father of dismay and anger among the public.
“The Idealist” is a film written and directed in a simple, straightforward and compelling that it can not arouse in the viewer reactions and reflections.
The director Rosendahl (awarded Best Director at the Beijing International Festival) presenting the film yesterday afternoon at the Nordic Film Fest, has pointed out that the story told not claim to be the absolute truth, but his personal view of the facts. If anything, the intention of the Danish filmmaker was rather put the viewer the next and inevitable question after the end of the movie: You will still trust such a political class?
It ‘a product that has a plant and television narrative breath film. And although these too Manichaean view between good and bad and a rhythm not always urgent and fluid is left to see to the end with interest and curiosity.
Poul Brink seen through the eyes of the Italian spectator, perhaps may appear naive Don Quixote, who was defeated by Danish real politik. But the other side really is a beautiful courageous journalism page as well as intellectual honesty.
Poul Brink died in 2008, due to a heart attack, and after knowing its history, the Italian viewer can only hope that in Italy there are journalists at least similar to stubbornness and professionalism.
Married life is not easy, or if you have a small child to care can become stifling and oppressive.
A truth that applies in every corner of the world. Do not believe us?
See “Lapland Odyssey 2” is believing. In Finland marriage may be the tomb of love.
Also in the green and quiet Finland you can get bored, if a couple has to live with a daughter of a year. In a remote provincial town.
This is the story of the young couple made up Janne and Inari, who after being imprisoned in the house for a year, to look after their daughter Lumi, feel the need to have a place for their evening.
So they both decide, separately, to go out with their friends for a night on the town.
Started with a friend, go to parties at a beautiful hotel owned by one suitor still morbidly in love with the woman.
Instead Janne, officially chosen to stay home with the baby, convinces an old friend to go to a wedding, convinced that he can deal with the same daughter.
Thus he began a crazy and fun night when the plot twists and unexpected fun become the heart of a story perhaps predictable and unoriginal for those who are used to seeing American comedies, but that captures the attention and curiosity of the viewer amused .
It ‘a simple comedy, clean and without any particular narrative and directorial flicks, but revealing pleasant and nice to follow and see. Showing especially as the problems of a young couple is the same everywhere. The cast is fairly good interprativo overall and adequate to the task managing to create a good empathy with the audience.
Create and maintain a family are not a simple undertaking, but as it suggests the end, is probably the most exciting adventure that one can live.
