“Certi momenti” è un romanzo di Andrea Camilleri pubblicato nel Novembre 2015 da Chiare Lettere.
La vita di ognuno di noi è composta da singoli e precisi momenti, tali da renderla unica e importante.
Se ci fermiamo un momento e volgiamo lo sguardo all’indietro, potremmo immaginare di vedere i momenti decisivi o almeno significativi della nostra esistenza come fossero delle vecchie foto in bianco e nero.
E queste suddette foto sono raccolte nell’album della nostra memoria regalandoci sempre emozioni e riflessioni forti.
Quante mani abbiamo stretto, quanti incontri fortuiti e quante persone abbiamo incontrato nella nostra vita lavorativa e personale?
E’ possibile fare un bilancio e stirare un elenco di quali momenti possano essere catalogati più importanti?
Sì, se lo fa Andrea Camilleri che non solo è il Maestro artistico che noi tutti conosciamo, ma soprattutto Maestro di vita e cantastorie di un secolo appena trascorso.
Camilleri non è la prima volta che apre ai suoi lettori il baule dei suoi ricordi per raccontare aneddoti succosi della sua vita. Eppure ma come questa volta il Maestro scrive di sé e delle sue esperienze personali con una delicatezza e semplicità rara che toccano le corde emotive del lettore e soprattutto affascinando come un nipote piccolo che ascolta i racconti di un vecchio nonno.
Camilleri con uno stile caldo e nello stesso tempo asciutto ed essenziale porta il lettore in un viaggio nel tempo facendoli conoscere personaggi famosi come il regista PierPaolo Pasolini o l’editore Livio Garzanti, e scrittori come Antonio Tabucchi e Primo Levi tratteggiandoli da una prospettiva diversa e personale che non può stupire e far sorridere.
Eppure sono i momenti privati che probabilmente hanno maggiore forza e intensità narrativa per il lettore per come Camilleri riesca a trasmettere la straordinarietà di uomini e donne, in apparenza normali e umili, ma che in vero possedevano una bontà d’animo, personalità e carisma, che non solo toccarono la vita dell’autore siciliano, ma rimangono impressi anche nel lettore.
Come ad esempio nel caso della”Confessione” in cui Camilleri, futuro sposo, avendo bisogno di essere cresimato , ha l’opportunità di conoscere un vecchio vescovo che lo colpirà per la sua natura semplice e profonda.
Sorridiamo del “momento” della Federala, dove una donna, seppure convintamente fascista, si rivela però più devota al marito comunista, sostenendolo in segreto.
Oppure non possiamo non commuoverci nel momento “David detto Pippo” dove l’autore ci racconta una bellissima storia d’amicizia interrotta solo dalle tragiche leggi razziali che anche regime fascista adottò.
Ogni vita è degna di essere raccontata perché contiene momenti di grande valore affettivo e simbolico, questi “Certi momenti” in più confermano la grandezza umana e morale di Camilleri oltre che il suo talento letterario.

Yes, if it does Andrea Camilleri that not only is the Master art that we all know, but mostly Master of life and storytellers of the past century.
Camilleri is not the first time he opens his readers the trunk of his memories for juicy anecdotes of his life. But as yet this time the Master writes about himself and his personal experiences with a rare delicacy and simplicity that touch the emotional chords of the player and especially fascinating as a small nephew who hears the tales of an old grandfather.
Camilleri with a warm and at the same time dry and essential leads the reader on a journey through time, make them known celebrities such as director Pier Paolo Pasolini or publisher Livio Garzanti, and writers such as Primo Levi and AntonioTabucch tratteggiandoli from a different perspective and staff which is not surprising and making people smile.
Yet they are the private moments that probably have more strength and intensity narrative for the reader as for Camilleri is able to convey the extraordinary men and women, apparently normal and humble, but who possessed a genuine kindness, personality and charisma, that not only they touched the life of the author Sicilian, but also remain etched in the reader.
Such as in the case of the “Confession” in which Camilleri, future husband, she needed to be confirmed and forcing him to the ritual of confession and on this occasion to get to know an old bishop who impresses with its simple nature and profound.
We smile in the “moment” of Federala, where a woman, albeit convincingly fascist, turns out to be more devoted to her husband communist, supporting him in secret.
Or we can not move us in the moment “said David Foo” where the author tells a beautiful story of friendship interrupted only by the tragic racial laws that fascist regime adopted.
Every life is worth telling because it contains moments of great emotional and symbolic value, these “Certain moments” more confirmed human greatness and moral Camilleri as well as his literary talent.
