Un tempo non troppo lontano era lo zoo il luogo dove i bambini potevano entrare in contatto, spaventandosi magari anche un po’, con la varietà e la potenza della Natura espressa attraverso le meraviglie del mondo degli animali. Leoni, tigri, giraffe, erano loro le star da applaudire.
Poi venne Steven Spielberg e ci portò nel suo personale parco, conosciuto anche come Jurassic Park. Era il 1993 e come spesso accade con le idee geniali e creative anche questa sconvolse il mondo, cambiandone la prospettiva.
I dinosauri sono entrati nelle nostre case; li abbiamo visti muoversi, mangiare, uccidere. Dopo averli studiati per tanti anni soltanto sui libri, queste creature sono diventate “reali”, tangibili. Intuendo il potenziale dell’intuizione, Hollywood ha prodotto una trilogia – deludente, almeno nella seconda e terza parte.
Era necessario, a oltre dieci anni di distanza, rispolverare la questione? Lo spettatore pagante attempato che è in me sarebbe tentato di dire di no, ma non sarei del tutto onesto se non dicessi anche che ieri pomeriggio, alla fine della proiezione, sono stato svegliato dai convinti applausi del giovane pubblico e si sa, chi paga il biglietto ha sempre ragione.
Vediamo allora perché il nuovo capitolo della saga sui dinosauri, che si è ampliata tanto da meritare il titolo di “Jurassic World”, può essere salvato dalla lapidazione cinematografica.
Merito dell’alta e intensa recitazione degli attori? No, decisamente no. Perché nella pellicola i veri protagonisti sono i dinosauri e senza i loro grugniti e la loro imponente fisicità a rendere le scene interessanti e vivaci sarebbe stato auspicabile un film muto.
Si, avete letto bene. Un film muto ci avrebbe evitato di ascoltare dei dialoghi deprimenti, piatti e scontati, e di veder sviluppato un intreccio narrativo davvero modesto, che porta lo spettatore a pensare che gli sceneggiatori del primo “Jurassic” avrebbero meritato una cattedra ad honorem in creatività, mentre quelli di oggi dovrebbero seguire un buon corso di aggiornamento e comprendere cosa significhi l’espressione “evoluzione narrativa”… continua su

The dinosaurs came into our homes; we saw them move, eat, kill. After having studied them for many years only on the books, these creatures have become “real”, tangible. Realizing the potential of intuition, Hollywood has produced a trilogy – disappointing, at least in the second and third parts.
It was necessary, in more than a decade away, brush the issue? The viewer paying elderly in me would be tempted to say no, but I would not be completely honest if I said also that yesterday afternoon, after the screening, I was awakened by applause convinced the young audience and you know, he who pays the ticket is always right.
Let us see why the new installment in the saga about dinosaurs, which has expanded enough to deserve the title of “Jurassic World” can be saved from stoning film.
About the high and intense acting of the actors? No, definitely not. Why in the film the real stars are the dinosaurs, and without their grunts and their impressive physicality to make interesting and lively scenes would have been desirable for a silent film.
Yes, you read that right. A silent film would have avoided listening to the dialogues depressing, and discounted meals, and to have developed a storyline really modest, leading the viewer to believe that the writers of the first “Jurassic” deserved an honorary professorship in creativity, while those of today should follow a good refresher course and understand what the expression “narrative evolution” … read on
