“Il teatro è morto. Il teatro è per anziani. Il teatro è diventato l’ospizio e il rifugio degli pseudo artisti che sono stati cacciati e dimenticati dalla Tv e cinema.”
“Non esiste il teatro di Serie A e uno di Serie B e purtroppo nella massima divisione non ti fanno tocca palla” dice spesso sconsolato il mio amico attore Orazio Cerino.
E’ difficile stabilire senza apparire come un medico pietoso se fare teatro sia diventato una utopia o qualcosa che solo “ lucidi pazzi” possano intraprendere come carriera.
Da acerbo e neofita spettatore di questo mondo posso solo dire che sono sempre pronto ad accogliere inviti e stimoli per osservare e gustarmi nuove produzioni. Un Paese come il nostro rimarrà vecchio se non è capace di evolvere, mutarsi e da fiducia a nuovi talenti e alla creatività.
Già perche in tanti e piccoli scantinati delle nostre città che in maniera “cool” chiamiamo “teatro off” c’è una ricca miniera d’oro composta da attori, attrici, registi sceneggiatori che avrebbero tanto da raccontare, esibire e mostrare se avessero anche solo un cenno dagli avidi e sciocchi produttori per incantare e divertir ire il pubblico.
Così ogni Festival è una benedizione per gli addetti ai lavori e per lo spettatore che può finalmente conoscere facce nuove.
Ieri ho assisto con piacere alla penultima serata della terza edizione dei”I Corti Teatrali” al Teatro Dell’Angelo di Roma.Un evento ideato, voluto e diretto da Massimiliano Caprara con il valido supporto della bella e brava Veronica Milaneschi per presentarci le nuove leve teatrali che ci sono nel nostro Paese.
21 compagnie nel corso della settimana hanno presentato i loro spettacoli(quattro a serata) sottoponendosi al giudizio insindacabile del pubblico, il quale ha dovuto valutare testi, regia e recitazione.
Come ha giustamente detto il direttore Caprara questo Festival serve si a mappare lo stato dell’arte nel mondo del teatro italiano,ma soprattutto a comprendere come è cambiato ed evolve ancora lo spettatore, quali gusti predilige e cosa cerca in teatro.
Un vero e proprio sondaggio live per cogliere gli umori, i sogni e lo spirito del nostro Paese.
Ieri si sono alternati quattro compagnie portando in scena differenti generi e proposte di teatralità:commedia, dramma, cabaret e religioso con stili e linguaggi diversi che sicuramente ha soddisfatto il variopinto pubblico strappando sorrisi e applausi a seconda dei gusti e inclinazioni.
Personalmente la mia attenzione e curiosità sono stati colpiti dall’ultimo corto “Unigenti Figli Di Dio” in cui si è dimostrato come si possa ironizzare con garbo ed eleganza sulla religione quando il testo si rivela ben scritto, fluido e frizzante e ben interpretato dagli attori in scena. Perché in fondo secondo gli autori anche Gesù Cristo può avere beghe familiari e trovarsi impelagato in discussioni per l’eredità.
Oggi pomeriggio ci sarà l’acclamazione dei vincitori e la conseguente premiazione, in un mondo in cui tutto sembra fermo e antico, questa è una bella opportunità da cogliere per respirare a pieni polmoni la freschezza e la forza della novità.

From unripe and neophyte spectator of this world can only say that I am always ready to accept invitations and stimuli to observe and savor new productions. A country like ours will remain old if it is not able to evolve, mutate and confidence in new talent and creativity.
Already because in many of our cities and small basements that in a “cool” call “theater off” there is a rich gold mine consists of actors, actresses, directors, writers who would so much to tell, show and show if they had also only a nod from the greedy and foolish manufacturers to enchant and amuse the public ire.
So every Festival is a blessing for those who work and for the viewer who can finally know new faces.
Yesterday I I watch with pleasure the penultimate evening of the third edition of “The Theatrical Short” at the Teatro Dell’Angelo of Roma.Un event conceived, created and directed by Massimiliano Caprara with the valuable support of the beautiful and talented Veronica Milaneschi to introduce the new generation theater that there are in our country.
21 companies in the week presented their shows (four in the evening) by submitting to the sole opinion of the public, who had to evaluate texts, directing and acting.
As rightly said director Caprara this Festival you need to map the state of art in the world of Italian theater, but especially to understand how it has changed and evolved yet the viewer, which tastes prefers and what to look for in the theater.
A real live survey to capture the moods, the dreams and the spirit of our country.
Yesterday took turns on stage four companies bringing different genres and proposals of theatricality: comedy, drama, comedy and religious with different styles and languages that definitely has met the colorful public ripping smiles and applause depending on the tastes and inclinations.
Personally my attention and curiosity have been affected by the last short “Unigenti Sons Of God” which has been shown how one can make fun with grace and elegance on religion when the text proves well written, fluid and crisp and well played by actors in the scene. Because in the end the authors also Jesus Christ can have family quarrels and be embroiled in discussions over the inheritance.
This afternoon we will cheer the winners and the subsequent award, in a world where everything seems still and old, this is a great opportunity to be seized to breathe in the freshness and strength of novelty.
